Dhwani Mantra’s Himalayan Singing Bowls

A Journey of Craftsmanship and Healing

After years of extensive research on the quality of various Himalayan singing bowls, Teacher Ray embarked on a journey to develop his own line of healing bowls. Initially, he sourced bowls from traditional markets across Nepal, including Thamel, Boudha, Patan, and Bhaktapur, carefully evaluating their sound quality and vibrational properties. For several years, he selected and exported bowls worldwide, ensuring that each one met his high standards.

However, through years of teaching and practical application, he discovered that many commercially available bowls lacked the necessary quality for true healing purposes. Determined to bridge this gap, Ray delved deeper into the characteristics that make a singing bowl effective for therapeutic use. This pursuit led him to take the next step—designing and crafting his own Himalayan singing bowls.

The Birth of Mantra’s Singing Bowls

In 2019, Ray returned to Nepal with a vision: to collaborate with skilled artisans and create bowls specifically designed for sound healing. He partnered with multiple factories, seeking craftsmen who could bring his vision to life. Just as his project was gaining momentum, the COVID-19 pandemic struck, disrupting global supply chains and forcing many workshops to shut down.

Despite these challenges, Ray remained committed to his mission. He continued working with two dedicated factories, refining his designs and conducting small-scale production. By 2021, the first Mantra singing bowls were created. However, due to the pandemic’s restrictions, large-scale shipments were delayed. Over the next few years, Ray and his team meticulously fine-tuned the bowls, conducting strict quality inspections to ensure optimal resonance and vibration.

Although some early designs did not meet expectations, leading to financial setbacks, Ray never wavered in his dedication to creating the highest-quality healing bowls. By the end of 2022, his vision began to materialize—Mantra’s Himalayan singing bowls, crafted with precision and intention, were finally ready. Each bowl was meticulously tested, bearing the Mantra logo as a mark of authenticity and quality.

Designed for Training and Healing

Dhwani Mantra’s singing bowls have been specially crafted for different levels of training, including:

  1. Small bowl’s training class for knowledge
  2. Medium bowl’s training class for knowledge
  3. Big bowl’s individual self healing training class
  4. Three bowl’s basic level training class
  5. Intermediate training classes with chakra bowls & hand healing gongs
  6. Advanced training class with chakra bowls & combination of gongs

To further enhance their energetic properties, Ray introduced a unique series of bowls forged under the full moon. These bowls follow a special casting process in which the metal is blended under the moon’s energy and shaped by artisans at sunrise. This collection is named “Chandra Surya”—a Sanskrit term symbolizing the cosmic balance of Chandra (the moon) and Surya (the sun).

With years of dedication and refinement, Mantra’s singing bowls now stand as a testament to quality craftsmanship, healing vibrations, and the pursuit of excellence. Ray’s unwavering commitment to sound therapy continues to inspire practitioners worldwide, bringing the ancient art of singing bowls into modern healing practices.
